assign-deep is vulnerable to Prototype Pollution. The function assign-deep could be tricked into adding or modifying properties of Object.prototype using either a constructor or a proto payload.

assign-deep node module suffers from a Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID) vulnerability, which allows a malicious user to modify the prototype of Object via proto, causing the addition or modification of an existing property that will exist on all objects.

Utilities function in assign-deep can be tricked into modifying the prototype of "Object" when the attacker control part of the structure passed to these function. This can let an attacker add or modify existing property that will exist on all object. This can lead to denial of service or remote code execution.
